Apple Crisp
4 cups peeled, sliced apples
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
For Filling:
Place apples in an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
Stir in the granulated sugar.
1/2 cup regular rolled oats

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup chopped nuts
For Topping:
In a mixing bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, nutmeg & cinnamon. With a pastry blender, cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle topping over filling.
Bake:
Place in a 375 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the fruit is tender and topping is golden.
Serve warm with ice cream.
