My high school Basic Foods students loved these.
It's not something you should eat everyday...
but definately an occasional treat!
They Remind me of the ones I ate in New Orleans minus the powder sugar. Thanks for sharing the goodies....Julian

Yummy - I made apple cider donuts just last weekend - now I want more! Should I make this recipe now or perhaps wait til the kids come for a visit in a couple weeks?
ReplyDeleteOhhhh....the donuts look so yummy!
ReplyDeleteThese goodies remind me of the doughnut holes my parents used to make for my sister and I when we returned after a winter afternoon of ice skating on the lake next to our childhood home. They bring back so many pleasant memories. They were such a tasty treat and instantly warmed up back up!

My boyscouts could not BELIEVE you can have donuts on a campout! Fried them up in a coffee can. The boys even used their fingers to get the last tiny bits of sugar off the plate. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!
